We had a great time.

Thank you for all of your incredible support in making this year’s Jackson Hole Mini-Maker Faire a complete success.

Overall data:

  • 40+ makers
  • 6 student innovation entries
  • 4 sponsors
  • 674 participants (345 adults, 329 children) – estimate over 700 total visitors and participants

And we had a ton of fun.

Only Days Away

The Maker Faire is this Saturday from 12-4 PM on the Jackson Campus of the Teton Science Schools. With over 40 different booths and an expected 500+ people in attendance, this will be a great community event where you can come away with new skills and ideas and a design thinking, DIY mindset. Still unclear about design thinking and why this matters – check out Tim Brown’s TED talk or this article on design thinking for social innovation.

This event will be great rain or shine, so invite friends, families, and learners of all ages to participate. Thank you to those who have already signed up to support or run a booth!

Calling Student Innovators

At the Jackson Hole Maker Faire this weekend, we are encouraging any and all student makers.  Young makers face and solve some of the most interesting and challenging problems all the time.  Here is their chance to show them off.  Enter one of your solutions in the Youth Innovation Contest.

Judges are other makers and participants at the Faire.  Share your ideas and creations.
